Meet the Coffey Family! | Chickamauga Battlefield Family Photos

Check out this super sweet family in some fall foliage at the Chickamauga Battlefield during their 2022 family photos!!

It’s FALL y’all!! If you read my last post you should know, I love fall (just not all the flavors…). Throughout all my time taking photos of families, I would say the number one request I’ve had repeatedly is “if we can get them in the fall leaves!!” and I SO get it, it’s beautiful around here!!! But MAN those leaves are impossible to predict!!! Hey personal weather man, can I get a “leaves prediction chart” or something… surely that’s not too much to ask.

Some years I swear there is basically ONE day with nice fall leaves. It’s sad, but luckily this area is seriously beautiful year round. Still, people want those leaves and often times they are here and GONE!! But not this year. This year, we got in not one but TWO fall mini sessions during the fall colors… that’s amazing!! I think this may be one of the longest and prettiest falls I can recall. And I’m so glad for lots of reasons, not the least of which is that it gave me extra time to catch this super sweet crew for their family photos and introduce them to the Chickamauga Battlefield in all its fall glory!!

Meet the Coffey Family!!! I am SO glad to have connected with mama Catherine through another incredibly sweet family (featured in Fall Family Minis and Pool Party Minis!!). This is super cliche but I’ll say it anyway – Catherine was one of those people who felt like an instant friend to me!! And no surprise, her husband Jason was equally easy to talk to. Just a super likable, easy-going couple. So refreshing!!

And these kiddos, man, just SO well behaved and good tempered!! Abby told me all about school, little guy Judah gave me some GREAT smiles and giggles!! And although I was unsuccessful at getting Grant to teach me about Sonic the hedgehog, I’ve got a good feeling he’ll fill me in next time – we’re buds now.

Coffey family, it was such a pleasure spending time with all of you!!! Thank you for sharing your sweet family memories with me, and some laughs too! It was so wonderful to see you guys just enjoy each other. And now please enjoy this little snippet of the Coffey Family Session at the Chickamauga Battlefield!!
